Policy Statements and Resolutions

Policy Statements:

As a Big 5 country, between you and your partner, you need to write a policy statement. This should be a general statement about the position of the UK on your committee's topic, and you should have more specific information in your papers. You don't need to turn them in, but you will want to have them for the conference.

If you haven't already, you may want to look at the Foreign Commonwealth Office.

Resolutions:

Resolutions are due by April 1st at 5:00. Be sure to check the Oregon MUN website for the correct format for your resolutions! There is a button on the website as well where you will submit the resolutions. Our advisors are Mr. Loveless and Ms. Walker.

Mock Credentialing

Remember to bring BOTH position papers to the meeting this week! (Tuesday, February 8th) You will need them if you would like to be mock-credentialed.

Reminder

Remember that there is NO meeting finals week. Be sure to finish your papers by February 1st!

Also- your committee letter (A,B,C,D) may have changed. Be sure to have the right heading on your papers.
